In 1946, Henning Frederiksen co-founded Plainville Tool and Die Company. Three years later it was incorporated as Plainville Machine Works.

Since its founding as a three man shop, Plainville Machine Works has experienced continual growth and has sustained a reputation for reliability. The basic principles of service and quality have remained constant for more than half a century.

Today with over 50,000 square feet of manufacturing, assembling, sales engineering and office space, Plainville Machine Works is ready to transform machine and machine-part designs into reality.

In addition to manufacturing machine components, and maintaining facilities for stringent quality, Plainville Machine Works also offers blanchard grinding, complete assembly and painting. We have both the facilities and trained employees to meet your manufacturing needs.
