Welding Department

Plainville Machine is equipped to weld carbon and alloy steels using Shielded Metal-Arc, Gas Metal-Arc, Flux-Cored Arc, Gas Tungsten-Arc and Submerged-Arc and aluminum using GTAW and GMAW. Non destructive testing includes magnetic particle and liquid penetration.

We are skilled at handling complex weldments, and have all the tools and knowledge to efficiently assemble medium to large scale structural weldments.
